As much as I love 'dark art' or 'fantasy art' - portraits, I get saddened by the fact that you often cannot recognize the person under all the layers of make-up that are coated on.

Keep it natural, girls.

As already stated in Artemis Fowl:
'A apron does not a waiter make.'


Make-up does not equal beauty, even though it can emphasise on it.
I know a picture of a popular deviant which is not edited in the usual way and just shows the model plastered with make-up.. not nice.


For example, look at ~frozengerbil, her natural portraits are beautiful.

Schönes Foto, sieht irgendwie aus wie gemalt. *g*
Mädchen ohne MakeUp und dem ganzen Zeug finde ich ohnehin irgendwie schöner - vorallem in unserer überkünstelten Kultur heutzutage in der jeder irgendwie perfekt aussehen will. Einzig die Natur hat einen Anspruch, perfekt sein zu dürfen. :)
