Cupcakes and tits..
A few things have happened since I last posted, some things have changed for the better, some are still the same..
- Broke up with my boyfriend of 20 months, got back together again recently. it was needed. hopefully this will.. help? I don't know yet.
- Handed in my dissertation at the beginning of May (YESSSSSSS), booked tickets for my graduation, still need to hire the gown and, more importantly, finish my final photographic project. I think I nailed it with the photo shoot today and I will post the images here soon. Degree show is on soon, a private viewing is scheduled for the 5th of June, so if you happen to be around London, drop by (I will post more about this).
- I could not have taken the pictures without Dear Reader. Be amazed. They are the perfect, perfect inspiration for this.
- My final work is a series of three images and for the first time I am very, very happy about the new dA collection/folder feature as I cannot imagine showing it any other way. These photographs are different from my previous shoots but in a certain way they definitely still relate to them and HOPEFULLY show my influences (yes) and how I grew up and matured.
- BOUGHT A NEW CAMERA LENS. ebay is the way forward - and now I am the proud owner of a Canon 17-40mm f4 L lens .. the payment still has to go through and it still needs to be shipped to me but hey.. - I suppose this is the prelude for the inevitable camera upgrade to full-frame if I want to stay serious about this. And I am.
- Looking for jobs after summer and I have decided I will work as a photographer's assistant for a year. I am excited! I hope I can do this.
Yes. I am better now. Still anxious, still money worries but.. I am still here.

... and wtf is it with the overflow of bokeh work?!?! I like bokeh but it is so.. overused. And I HATE it when people just slap it onto their images to appeal to current trends. bokeh does not instantly make a crappy picture good..
Distracted
Eigentlich wollte ich dir eine message schicken, aber ich hab bis jetzt nicht herausgefunden, wie das funktioniert. : D
Es geht eigentlich nur darum, dass ich mit dem Gedanken spiele, mir eine 'gute' Kamera zu kaufen. Allerdings brauche ich erstmal einen Rat und überhaupt Informationen über dies und jenes, da bist dann sofort du mir eingefallen.
Vielleicht kannst du mir ja mal eine message schicken, dann finde ich bestimmt heraus, wie man antwortet und kann genauer beschreiben, was ich eigentlich wissen will.
Wäre jedenfalls supernett von dir. ; )
